100 million plastic bottles are used worldwide everyday, and 80% of those never get recycled and end up in our landfills and oceans. We’ve created Roka Sustainable to address this challenge, a range of bags made out of recycled plastic bottles to help recycle waste and protect marine life.

Recycled Material 

PET material (polyethylene terephthalate, raw petroleum-based material) is widely used in plastic bottles and other food packaging all over the world. We use recycled PET (or rPET) in our sustainable bags giving new life to a material that’s not biodegradable and would otherwise end up in landfill or the ocean.

Less Waste

But we also wanted to dive in to the manufacturing, so our new method uses 85% less energy, 80% less water, and 65% fewer emissions than traditional methods. Next we took a closer look at our packaging and completely redesigned that as well. This new Roka Sustainable range will arrive in corn-starch based, biodegradable packaging.

SMALL SIZED BAGS

MEDIUM SIZED BAGS

This is the perfect size for you to carry enough for the day plus more! The medium size gives you the versatility to use it for any occasion, as your work bag (it can fit a 13 inch laptop in), general day bag, school bag, hiking bag or even as your nappy bag, the medium supports you for all of your requirements! LARGE SIZED BAGS
